Football Saturday

Today was a big day.  Riley's team played the team that is stacked every year.  The boys practiced a lot this week and worked on new plays.  We did not win in points but we played the best game all season.  Those boys brought their all and held them.  The parents of the stacked team said this was the toughest game they have played all year.  We have one game left.  A Friday Night under the lights in Havre.  If these boys play as hard as they did today they will win in points.

Aiden had a game after Riley.  This is our Saturday morning routine.  Riley plays at 8:30 we have to be there 45 minutes early and Aiden plays on the opposite side of town at 10:00.  Usually Taylor is in charge of Aiden but today I left Riley's game early to take Aiden since I have missed a few of his games.

After all the games, Riley's team had a party to celebrate their season.  The coaches picked the top six players and awarded them  MVP's.  Riley was one of the six chosen.  Pretty cool!!!  He had great coaches this year and it shows in Riley's love of the sport.

Coach Rambo played college ball and asked if he could keep Riley all the time.

Coach Norton played running back for the Gators and now plays for the local football team the Gladiators.  He taught Riley a lot about being a great running back.

Coach Atencio, head coach that has been so positive and supportive.  His dedication to this team was amazing.
